Welcome to Edify - Bible. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules and guidelines that apply when you access or use our mobile application, including the Audio Bible, Bible reading, audio stories, Study Plans, Readers’ Circle community, Ask AI, subscriptions, and any other features provided through the App.
By using the App, creating an account, subscribing to premium access, or using any feature in the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About the App
Edify - Bible is a faith-based mobile application created by Envision Apps to help users read, listen to, and engage with the Bible and Christian audio stories.
The App provides free content, premium content, subscription-based access, and AI-assisted features designed to support Bible study, listening, reflection, and spiritual growth.
2. User Accounts
Some features of the App require you to create an account or sign in using supported login options. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us immediately.
Envision Apps reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms, abuses the App, attempts fraud, or engages in harmful activity.
3. Eligibility
By using this App, you confirm that you are legally allowed to use digital services in your location. If you are under the age required to use digital services or make purchases in your country, you must use the App with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
4. Faith-Based Content and Purpose
The content provided in Edify - Bible is intended for Bible reading, audio listening, Christian learning, encouragement, and spiritual development.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide helpful and meaningful content, users are encouraged to study responsibly, seek proper spiritual guidance where necessary, and use personal discretion when applying any teaching or material.
5. Subscriptions
The App offers subscription plans that give users access to premium content and features, including full Audio Bible access, premium audio stories, unlimited Ask AI usage, and other benefits shown in the App.
Subscription plans may be billed monthly, yearly, or according to the options shown at the time of purchase. Subscription payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be handled by Google Play, Apple App Store, or Paystack.
You are responsible for managing and cancelling your subscription before the next renewal date if you no longer wish to continue. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
6. Audio Bible and Audio Stories
The App provides access to Audio Bible content and Christian audio stories. Some content may be available for free, while other content may require a subscription or be subject to a preview limit.
Audio content is licensed for personal, non-commercial listening only. You may not record, copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit any audio content from the App.
7. Ask AI Feature
Edify - Bible includes an AI-assisted Ask AI feature that allows users to ask questions, receive scripture explanations, and explore Bible topics.
AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be perfect, complete, or fully accurate. AI responses should not replace personal Bible study, pastoral guidance, professional advice, or independent judgment.
The App may require a subscription or apply usage limits for the Ask AI feature.
8. Readers’ Circle
The App includes a Readers’ Circle community feature where users can share posts, reflections, and faith-based content. By posting in the Readers’ Circle, you agree to:
- Share only content that is respectful, truthful, and appropriate for a faith-based community.
- Not post content that is abusive, hateful, misleading, sexually explicit, violent, or harmful to others.
- Accept that we may review, remove, or restrict posts that violate these Terms or affect the safety and quality of the community.
9. Study Plans and Reminders
The App allows users to follow Study Plans and set daily reminders. You can create personal plans or follow available plans in the App. We are not responsible for missed notifications due to device settings, network conditions, or system limitations.
10. Purchases and Payments
Payments for subscriptions or other digital items may be processed through Google Play, Apple App Store, or Paystack. By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing, billing terms, and payment conditions shown at the time of purchase.
We do not directly control all payment processes handled by third-party payment providers or app stores. Payment issues, chargebacks, failed transactions, or refund requests may be subject to the policies of the payment provider used.
11. Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store or payment provider used for the purchase. We do not guarantee refunds for consumed access periods, subscription renewals, or purchases made by mistake, except where required by law or by the payment provider’s policy.
12. Content Ownership
All content in the App, including Bible audio, stories, text, graphics, logos, images, designs, software, and features, belongs to Envision Apps, its licensors, publishers, or rightful content owners.
You are given a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App and access its content for personal and non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the App or its content without written permission.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Break any law or regulation.
- Abuse, harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Bypass subscription access restrictions or usage limits.
- Use bots, scripts, emulators, or automated systems to exploit features.
- Attempt to hack, damage, overload, or interfere with the App.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or misleading content.
- Violate the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others.
14. App Availability
We aim to provide a smooth and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
15. Updates and Changes
We may update the App, change features, update prices, add new services, or modify these Terms from time to time. When important changes are made, we may notify you through the App, email, or app store update notes. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the App, committed fraud, or created risk for Envision Apps, other users, or our partners. You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion where this option is available.
17. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services including payment providers, app stores, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, cloud hosting, notification services, authentication providers, and AI service providers. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. Envision Apps is not responsible for third-party services that we do not directly control.
18. Disclaimer
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every content item, feature, AI response, or service will always be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. The App is intended for personal Bible study, listening, and spiritual growth. It should not replace professional, legal, medical, or pastoral advice where such advice is required.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Envision Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes loss of data, loss of access, payment issues, service interruptions, or reliance on AI-generated responses.
