Privacy Policy

EnvisionApps ("we", "us", "our") builds websites and mobile applications, including this website, TheRehoboth, 247BrandHQ, Koinonia, Edify — Christian Books & Audio, Edify — Audio Bible & Stories, and MyChurchApp PRO (together, our "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. What we collect
The information we collect depends on which Service you use:
- Account information — name, email address and, for church and business platforms, organisation details you provide when you register.
- Content you create — messages, posts, reading plans, bookmarks, giving records, member records and similar content you add while using a Service.
- App activity — features used, screens viewed, and general usage patterns that help us understand what's working and fix what isn't.
- Device information — device model, operating system, app version and device identifiers used for crash reporting and analytics.
- Communications — messages you send us through a contact form, email or in-app support channel.
We do not knowingly collect financial account credentials, card numbers or government ID numbers directly; where a Service accepts payments or donations, that is handled by a licensed third-party payment processor, not stored on our own servers.
2. How we use it
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services you use.
- To personalise your experience — reading plans, playlists, saved content and reminders.
- To send service notifications, such as reminders you've set or updates to a Service you use.
- To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To understand usage patterns and improve reliability, performance and design.
- To respond to support requests and messages you send us.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers who help us operate our Services — hosting, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery and payment processing — under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing that service to us.
- Other users, where you choose to share — for example, a post you make in a community feature, or content you share with your church's administrators.
- Legal or safety reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of EnvisionApps, our users, or the public.
4. Data security
We use encryption in transit and reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data protected and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
5. Your rights and choices
- You can access, correct or update your account information from within most Services.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us — see below.
- You can opt out of non-essential notifications from within a Service's settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, including the right to request a copy of your data.
6. Children's privacy
Our Services are intended for general audiences and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our Services evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll aim to provide additional notice, such as an in-app message.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise a data right, or want to report a concern, email us at support@envisionapps.org. We respond to every message personally.
